Ripening already picked apples

Ripening apples for an extra burst of taste can be done in a variety of ways. Apples already picked can be placed inside a paper bag that is lightly closed. After placing it in a paper bag, store the apples at room temperature for best results. Room temperature, also known as ambient temperature is usually from 64°F (18°C) to 73°F (23°C). Remember to use a paper bag, as plastic bags will not be enough for the ripening process. The ripening process consists of the production of ethylene gas, which helps the apples ripen. Storing the apples inside a paper bag will allow the apples to continuously respire until ripen.

Growing your own Apple Orchard

Apples grown from your own apple orchard may have a more of a distinguished taste. However, growing ripen apples requires a vast array of knowledge and skills. Some of the knowledge needed includes soil types, fertilization, and preparing a planting site. RipenApples.com is offering a new payment system written in Perl that supports all versions of phpLD. This new system is designed to improve and automate your overall directory business. It allows you to reduce your PayPal fees and to deal with SPAM. Since this payment system incorporates full use of PayPal IPN, it allows you to only see submissions that PayPal has marked as valid. In other words, you won’t see any submission listings in your phpLD admin section unless PayPal notifies you of a successful payment.

Multiple Listing

Other features include multiple listing capability. Meaning if a webmaster was to submit 3 sites at once, then that will save you .60 cents in PayPal fees. For every 150 customers who submit 3 sites at once, you save 150 x .60 cents, which comes out to 90 dollars.

Another neat feature is a new category select feature that supports up to five levels. It allows the user to easily navigate your directory tree and choose the most appropriate category possible. It also offers a new preview page for users to double check their submission details.

An Auto-Loading Feature

To allow your directory customers to save time, our new payment feature offers a new auto-loading feature. Anytime a user submits a site, our system will allow them to download a text file where they can then use to pre-fill their submission details with the auto-loading feature.

This payment system also comes with newsletter tracking as well. We also like to mention that this payment system is a work in progress. Future upgrades will include a newsletter send-out system, a coupon (discount) section, and more.

So why in Perl? Because of the advantages it will provide to users.

Users that install the mod and then decide to upgrade phpLD would not have to be concerned with re-editing a bunch of files after upgrading. Since the payment system is able to communicate with your phpLD database just the same as PHP would, theres no need to edit any of your main php files.

When we provide future upgrades, it will mostly consist of a small template change and/or a simple re-uploading of the script. This again avoids opening up any more php files to edit. As for the PHP files that would require editing/updating upon update, will be your details.php if you plan on providing sub pages.

RipenApple’s understands the importance of providing a payment system that will be just as secure as your current phpLd one. Our payment system validates and taints all incoming form fields, as well as using DBI placeholders to avoid the possibilities of an SQL injection. It also includes PayPal IPN’s security measures described in their developer’s manual.

You can enter up to as many random meta descriptions as you would like. This mod requires your host to run PERL scripts.

Our new phpLD category generator tool allows you to build and generate a unique category structure for your phpLD web directory. You can now easily remove and add new categories to the existing general category dump and call it your own.

This category generator is meant for new users of phpLD versions 2 and 3 to use. When creating your new directory structure, the newly generated SQL will remove your existing categories and any existing site listings you have will match accordingly to the new structure.

One neat feature in this tool is that it can also generate random meta descriptions for your categories. This can be looked at as one step for Google spiders not to index your site as supplemental.
